Agricultural Associate Solicitor - Cheltenham

Join a well established, highly regarded regional law firm with recognised strength in private client, real estate and rural sector work. The firm has a strong presence across the Midlands and South West and is known for high quality legal advice and a collaborative culture.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Agricultural Associate Solicitor to join their first tier Agriculture & Landed Estates team.

The Role
You will work closely with senior lawyers while managing your own caseload across a broad range of non contentious rural property matters. The role offers early responsibility, direct client contact and exposure to high quality agricultural and estates work.

Key work includes:

  • Rural land acquisitions and disposals
  • Title review and reporting
  • Transfers of whole and part
  • Overage, options and promotion agreements
  • Agricultural tenancies
  • Easements, wayleaves and land registration
  • Secured lending and auction sales
  • Supporting business development and ongoing professional training


Candidate Requirements

  • Post qualification experience in property law (agricultural experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong technical ability and a commercial, solutions focused approach
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Genuine interest in rural property, estates work and the agricultural sector
  • Motivated, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
