The Role


Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Private Client lawyer to join a highly respected national firm with a strong reputation in private wealth, consistently ranked in the top tiers of Legal 500 and Chambers. This is a chance to work within a market leading Private Capital team known for its technical excellence, sophisticated client base and collaborative culture.

Depending on your experience, this opportunity can be at Associate, Senior Associate or Salaried Partner level.

You'll advise high and ultra high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and international clients on complex lifetime planning matters. While you'll handle straightforward work independently, much of your caseload will involve intricate estate planning delivered alongside senior partners offering exceptional exposure and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on estate planning and drafting wills and trust documents for HNW and international clients
  • Providing inheritance tax and capital gains tax advice
  • Supporting business owners with pre exit planning strategies
  • Advising on the creation, management and winding up of trusts (with administrative support from a dedicated Trust Management team)
  • Liaising with financial planners and discussing a broad range of financial products
  • Advising on deeds of variation, discretionary trusts and loan arrangements
  • Attending networking events, webinars and speaking opportunities to raise your profile
  • Delivering exceptional client service and building long term trusted relationships


You'll benefit from a national support structure, including access to high quality precedents, a dedicated PSL team, knowledge services and excellent technical training. STEP/CTA qualification support is available.

Candidate Requirements
We're looking for a technically strong, client focused lawyer who enjoys complex private wealth work.

You will bring:

  • At least 4 years' PQE in private client work, with strong experience in wills and lifetime planning
  • Genuine enthusiasm for private wealth and working with a diverse, sophisticated client base
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to offer practical, solutions driven advice
  • Confidence handling complex matters while knowing when to seek guidance
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Comfort with networking and business development
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
