Associate - Commercial Litigation - Cardiff

The Role


A well established regional firm with strong national rankings is looking for a Commercial Litigation Associate (2+ PQE) to join its busy Cardiff team. You'll work across a wide mix of disputes from contractual and IP matters to partnership, shareholder and professional negligence claims.

There's also the chance to get involved in procurement challenges, advising both bidders and contracting authorities. Experience in this area is helpful but absolutely not essential.

You'll also have opportunities to get involved in wider practice development, including writing articles and attending networking events. Hybrid working is available, usually 2-3 days a week in the office.

Candidate Requirements

  • 2+ PQE (or equivalent) in commercial litigation
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Experience with a range of commercial or corporate disputes
  • Interest in procurement work (experience a bonus, not a must)
  • Comfortable working with public and private sector clients
  • Great communicator and team player
  • Organised, proactive and confident managing your own matters
