Conveyancing Team Lead - 4 year PQE - South Wales
Location: South Wales (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 performance based bonus

A well established and award winning regional law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to lead its Residential Conveyancing team in South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a growing practice, with responsibility for team development, business growth and high quality client service.

The Role
You will lead and grow the Conveyancing team while managing your own caseload of residential property matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing a caseload of residential conveyancing files
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new build, remortgages, transfer of equity, shared ownership and shared equity matters
  • Developing relationships with local estate agents, brokers and introducers
  • Leading marketing and business development initiatives to promote the Caerphilly office
  • Mentoring, supervising and training junior team members
  • Working closely with senior leadership to implement growth and performance strategies


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to an experienced conveyancing professional with:

  • Minimum 4 years' PQE as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Strong technical knowledge across the full range of residential conveyancing work
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and deliver consistent billings
  • Previous experience managing or supervising a conveyancing team
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with local agents and introducers
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach


Working Pattern

  • 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home
  • Full time, permanent position
