Senior Associate / Partner - Family Law - Dorset
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £60,000 to £90,000 (DOE, with enhanced package available at Partner level)
A leading regional law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Partner level Family Lawyer to join its highly regarded and expanding Family Team in Dorset. This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a senior position within a progressive, ambitious practice that is continuing to grow its presence.
The Role
You'll take on a senior position within the Family Team, managing a high quality caseload of private family matters and contributing to the strategic development of the department. Responsibilities include:
- Managing and progressing complex, high value financial cases
- Advising on children matters and relationship breakdowns
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to junior fee earners
- Building and maintaining strong referral networks across the region
- Leading on marketing and business development initiatives
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the wider Family Team
- Promoting a constructive, Resolution led approach and utilising ADR where appropriate
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to an experienced family law specialist with:
- Significant experience in private family law (financial and children matters)
- Strong technical expertise
- Proven ability to manage complex, high value matters independently
- Excellent client care skills
- A strong network of professional connections (a following is advantageous)
- Leadership qualities
- A collaborative, proactive approach and commitment to team growth
