Knowledge Lawyer - Trusts & Estates (Non Contentious) - Exeter
Location: Exeter
Type of Role: Permanent, Part-time (3-4 days per week)
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 (pro rata, depending on experience)

A well established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer to support its respected Trusts & Estates team. This part time, non fee earning role sits within the firm's wider Knowledge Management function and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the technical excellence and ongoing development of a leading Private Wealth practice.

The Role
You will play a key role in shaping and delivering knowledge resources for the non contentious Trusts & Estates team. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and communicating legal developments and market trends
  • Producing and maintaining internal guidance notes, protocols, precedents and templates
  • Delivering regular training sessions and technical updates to fee earners
  • Supporting the team in providing high quality, technically robust advice to clients
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Knowledge Management and Trusts & Estates teams


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Private Wealth lawyer who brings:

  • Strong experience in trusts, estates, wills, succession planning and related tax matters
  • Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to explain complex issues clearly
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Confidence managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • A proactive, positive and collaborative approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the firm
