A leading regional law firm is seeking an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing Inheritance & Trust Disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a specialist, nationally recognised practice area, whether you are newly qualified or bring several years of experience.

The Role
You will manage a varied and interesting caseload of inheritance and trust disputes, including:

  • Challenges to the validity of wills
  • Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
  • Proprietary estoppel claims
  • Disputed trusts and trustee matters
  • Equitable claims involving complex family and property arrangements


Prior experience in contentious probate is welcome but not essential. Candidates with litigation or probate backgrounds who are keen to specialise in this niche area are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of contentious probate and trust disputes
  • Working collaboratively to deliver excellent client service
  • Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Participating in business development and networking activities
  • Meeting financial targets while maintaining high quality standards
