A respected regional law firm is seeking a Land and Property Solicitor (5+ Years PQE) to join its established and growing team in Crewkerne. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key role within a supportive, progressive environment offering genuine career development, including pathways up to Salaried Partner level.

The Role
You will be a key lawyer within the Land & Property team, managing a full caseload with a residential property focus. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing matters from instruction through to post completion
  • Handling a broad range of residential property and land law work
  • Running a busy caseload with minimal supervision
  • Supervising Trainee Lawyers and support staff (desirable)
  • Meeting time recording and billing targets
  • Liaising with clients, agents, and local professionals
  • Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with:

  • 5+ years PQE in residential property or wider land law
  • Strong technical knowledge of Property and Land Law
  • Confidence managing files independently from start to finish
  • Experience supervising junior colleagues (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the local market or a connection to the area (highly desirable)
  • Proficiency with legal IT and case management systems
