Court of Protection Senior Associate Solicitor - Swansea
A fantastic opportunity to join a leading regional, Legal 500 ranked firm with a respected and growing Court of Protection practice. We're looking for an experienced Solicitor who is passionate about supporting vulnerable clients, many of whom have suffered traumatic brain injuries or live with complex neurological conditions and who need help managing their property and financial affairs.
You'll run your own varied caseload, make day to day financial decisions in clients' best interests, and play a key role in shaping team strategy. Expect exposure to high value, complex deputyship matters, close collaboration with litigation teams, and the chance to supervise and mentor junior colleagues.
Work includes Court of Protection applications, statutory wills, personal injury trusts, trustee matters, annual reporting, budgeting, property management, and liaising with a wide range of professionals to ensure clients' needs are fully met. No two days look the same in this rewarding, people focused role.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong Court of Protection experience and solid knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- A compassionate, approachable and reliable manner
- Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence managing a busy, varied caseload
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients and professionals
