Contentious Probate Solicitor - NQ
Location: Bristol

Are you a Newly Qualified Solicitor with a genuine interest in complex estate and trust disputes? A highly respected national firm is looking to expand its market leading Contentious Trusts & Probate team in Bristol. NQ roles in this field at firms of this calibre are exceptionally rare and this is a standout opportunity to build your career in a Tier 1 ranked team.

You'll work closely with nationally recognised specialists on a wide range of contentious matters, including:

  • Will validity challenges
  • Executor and trustee disputes
  • Proprietary estoppel and 1975 Act claims
  • Trust disputes involving family dynamics and offshore structures
  • Contentious issues arising during estate administration


You'll also collaborate with non contentious private client teams, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of estates where litigation and administration overlap.

Candidate Requirements

  • Newly qualified solicitor, or qualifying shortly
  • Strong interest in contentious trusts and probate work
  • Ideally a seat in contentious probate
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive, emotionally charged matters with professionalism
