Senior Clinical Negligence Locum Solicitor

London | Hybrid (3 days in office)

April - June 2026

I am working with a London law firm that is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Negligence Locum Solicitor to provide support to its claimant clinical negligence team.

The Role

The successful locum will step into a busy and high-performing team, taking responsibility for a caseload of complex and high‑value claimant clinical negligence matters. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, providing senior oversight on files at various stages of progression.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of claimant clinical negligence files independently
  • Handling complex and higher‑value claims with minimal supervision
  • Providing senior-level input and support across ongoing matters
  • Ensuring continuity and progress on casework during the interim period

What we're looking for

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in claimant clinical negligence
  • A proven track record managing complex and high‑value claims
  • Confidence working autonomously and providing senior oversight
  • Availability to commence from 1st April (or as close as possible)
  • Ability to work 3 days per week in the London office
