Private Client Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive
Location: Plymouth
A long established, well respected regional law firm is looking for a Private Client Lawyer to join its busy and friendly team. The firm is known for its supportive culture, strong local reputation, and high quality work across wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with ideally 3-5 years' PQE to take on a varied caseload and become a key part of a growing department.
You will:
- Manage a broad range of probate and trust matters
- Handle estate administration and related private client work
- Build strong relationships with clients, offering clear, compassionate, and practical advice
- Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the private client department
The role begins on a part time basis but has genuine potential to develop into full time as the team continues to expand.
Candidate Requirements
- 3-5 years' PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Strong experience in probate and trust work
- Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and a client centred approach
- Organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively within a close knit team
