Private Client Associate - Cheltenham

A leading Private Client team is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Cheltenham office. The successful candidate will advise a wide range of UK clients on succession and tax planning while working within a highly regarded, recognised practice.

The role involves providing clear, commercial advice, managing a varied caseload, drafting complex documentation with minimal supervision, and contributing to business development and team know how initiatives. There is also the opportunity to support and supervise junior colleagues.

Key Requirements:

• England & Wales qualified lawyer (or equivalent) with 2+ years' PQE
• Strong technical knowledge of succession and tax planning, ideally with STEP (advantageous)
• Excellent judgement, attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Proactive, collaborative and confident in developing client relationships

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking a hands on approach, thrives in a high performing team and is motivated by delivering outstanding client service. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available.
