Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking to join one of the UK's leading specialist family law firms? We are seeking a proactive and organised Legal Secretary to support a busy Family Law department across offices in Marlow and Beaconsfield.

Our client is a highly regarded, specialist family law firm with offices across the South of England. Known for their compassionate, client-focused approach, they advise clients on a wide range of family matters including divorce and separation, financial settlements, children matters, cohabitation disputes, and pre/post-nuptial agreements. The Role

You will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to a team of family law solicitors. Day-to-day duties will include:

  • Audio and copy typing of correspondence, court documents and legal forms
  • Managing fee earners' diaries, arranging appointments and meetings
  • Dealing with client enquiries by telephone and in person with empathy and professionalism
  • Opening and closing files, maintaining accurate case management records
  • Preparing court bundles and legal documents
  • Liaising with courts, third parties and counsel
  • General office administration

About You

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within family law (though other practice areas will be considered)
  • Strong audio typing skills and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills with a warm and approachable manner
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with a case management system is advantageous
  • A sensitive and discreet approach when dealing with clients going through difficult personal circumstances
