Senior Associate - Commercial Contracts (7+ PQE) - Bristol
A leading UK law firm with a reputation for high quality work, award winning culture and a genuinely collaborative approach is looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts Senior Associate to join its market leading Commercial team. The Role
As a Senior Associate, you'll take the lead on complex, high value commercial projects across a range of sectors including retail, food & drink, sport, leisure and logistics. You'll work closely with top tier clients on sophisticated commercial arrangements, providing strategic, practical advice on:
- Supply and services agreements
- Joint ventures and collaboration arrangements
- Distribution, agency, logistics and warehousing
- Sale and purchase terms
- Consumer facing contracts and regulatory compliance
You'll also play a key role in shaping client relationships, mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives. This is a role where you can make a real impact from day one.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or Scotland) with 7+ years' PQE in commercial contracts.
- Strong experience drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Knowledge of IP, data protection or consumer regulation is helpful but not essential.
- Confident managing complex projects and working directly with senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, collaborative and comfortable working across multiple sectors.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build long term client relationships.
