Associate Private Client Solicitor
Agriculture & Landed Estates (5+ PQE)

Are you a Private Client Solicitor with a passion for tax planning, trusts, and succession? This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Agriculture & Landed Estates team, working with farming families, landed estates, and high-net-worth individuals on complex and rewarding matters.

This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced Partners while managing your own caseload, advising clients on wealth protection and long-term planning.

The Role
You'll play a pivotal role in helping clients safeguard assets and pass wealth to future generations. Your work will include:

  • Advising on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning
  • Creating tax-efficient solutions for succession and asset protection
  • Structuring family partnerships and trusts
  • Drafting bespoke trust documents and settlements
  • Supporting estate administration for complex, high-value estates
  • Working independently and alongside a Partner on established client relationships


About You

  • 5+ years' PQE with strong expertise in private client tax planning
  • In-depth knowledge of IHT, CGT, and trust structures, particularly in the context of landed estates, farming enterprises, and family businesses
  • Confidence in drafting tailored legal documents and trust instruments
  • A genuine enthusiasm for tax efficiency, succession planning, and asset protection
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload under pressure
