Senior Contentious Employment Solicitor (Temporary)
Location: London (flexible/remote working available)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Approximately 6 months, TBC
Day rate: Competitive but approximately £85,000 - £90,000 FTE
A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to provide support on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 8+ years' PQE in contentious employment work who is confident managing tribunal matters independently.
The role
You will be supporting a partner with a busy contentious caseload, including:
- Employment Tribunal claims
- Unfair dismissal
- Discrimination matters
The work is fully remote, offering flexibility while still engaging with high‑quality, complex employment litigation.
Person specification
- A qualified solicitor with 8+ PQE in contentious employment law developed within City or large commercial firms
- Strong experience handling ET claims from start to finish
- Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines confidently
