This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading UK Top 50 law firm as a senior Real Estate Finance Lawyer within its highly respected Real Estate Finance team. The firm has a long-established national presence, a modern and ambitious culture, and a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service. With continued growth across its real estate offering, this role offers the chance to work with high profile clients, lead on complex transactions, and contribute to the strategic development of a thriving practice.

The Role
You will play a key role in advising banks, specialist lenders and high net worth individuals on a wide range of real estate finance matters. The work will include:

  • Managing and developing strong client relationships
  • Advising on commercial, mixed use and residential buy to let finance transactions
  • Working with lenders who use lender indemnity insurance on a volume basis
  • Designing and improving processes for new and existing clients
  • Leading, supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Supporting the strategic direction and growth of the team
  • Attending networking events, conferences and business development initiatives


This is a senior position suited to someone who combines technical excellence with commercial insight and leadership capability.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a recognised technical expert in real estate finance
  • Provide clear, commercially focused advice on complex legal and transactional issues
  • Demonstrate strong project and client management skills
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and referrers
  • Drive efficient time recording, pricing, cash flow and team profitability
  • Have a strong academic background
  • Lead business development initiatives and contribute to high profile pitches
  • Communicate clearly under pressure and deliver work to agreed service levels
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues while championing positive change
