Private Client Fee Earner - Minehead - 3+ PQE
Location: Minehead (Flexible Working Available)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)

A well established regional firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Fee Earner to join its respected team in Minehead. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied and high quality caseload within a friendly, supportive environment offering genuine career progression.

The Role
You will manage a broad and interesting range of private client matters, including:

  • Estate administration
  • Wills and trusts
  • Estate planning
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Court of Protection matters


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing your own caseload with autonomy
  • Providing clear, comprehensive advice to clients
  • Ensuring all files are handled in line with internal procedures and professional standards
  • Supporting colleagues with overflow work where needed
  • Meeting clients, assessing their needs and drafting relevant documentation
  • Providing accurate statutory interpretation and legal advice
  • Maintaining accurate time recording and issuing regular bills
  • Delivering a high quality, client focused service


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to:

  • A qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in private client work or
  • An experienced non qualified fee earner with equivalent expertise


You should also demonstrate:

  • Strong technical knowledge of private client law
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A professional, conscientious and reliable approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Strong client care skills and a proactive mindset
