The Team
You will be joining one of the largest and most respected Pensions teams in the UK, advising more than 750 trustee and employer clients across the public and private sectors. The team supports defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid schemes, and is known for its technical strength, sector knowledge and depth of expertise.
The team also delivers tailored trustee training and has developed innovative tools to help clients navigate regulatory challenges.
Key clients include:
AT&T, Babcock, Chanel, Great Lakes, Hampshire County Council, Honda, National Trust, Panasonic, Silentnight, University of Oxford and Western Power Distribution.

The Role
You will work on a broad range of pensions matters, including:
- Advisory work for trustees and employers
- Pensions related transactions
- Regulatory and governance matters
- Scheme documentation and amendments
- Contentious pensions issues
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex matters
- Managing your own caseload with increasing autonomy

Candidate Requirements
You will need:
- At least 2 years' PQE in pensions work (contentious or non contentious)
- Experience working on pensions related transactions, advisory work and contentious matters
- Qualification as an SRA registered Solicitor or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A desire to progress within a supportive, forward thinking team
