Senior Associate - Employment Law - Bristol - 7+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol

Salary: £75,000 to £100,000 (dependent on experience and business case)

A leading regional law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Employment team in Bristol. This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to help grow the firm's presence in the Bristol market, with a clear path to partnership for the right candidate.

The Role
You'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality, profitable legal services across a range of employment matters
  • Managing your own caseload and supporting larger client relationships
  • Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues, with a focus on Tribunal litigation
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members
  • Driving business development and contributing to the department's growth strategy
  • Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
  • Contributing to the department's strategic planning and service development


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • At least 7 years' PQE in employment law
  • Experience in Tribunal litigation (desirable)
  • Strong client management and communication skills
  • A solid business plan for growth within the Bristol market
  • Proven ability to generate new business and develop client relationships
  • Leadership experience and the ability to manage and mentor a small team
  • A collaborative, commercially aware, and proactive approach
