Serious Injury 3 + Cardiff

Chadwick Nott have been instructed on a standout opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join a top 100 national law firm within their highly regarded Serious Injury team. Consistently recognised by the leading legal directories for its expertise in catastrophic injury work, this is one of the premier claimant departments in the UK.

With modern, centrally located offices in Cardiff and a strong hybrid working model, this is an exceptional chance for a senior lawyer specialising in complex personal injury to take the next step in their career.

Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their award winning multidisciplinary team. You will be joining a busy, well resourced claimant practice acting for both adults and children who have suffered life changing injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and polytrauma arising from road traffic collisions, workplace incidents and assaults. You will also handle fatal accident claims on behalf of dependants and estates.

The successful candidate will be technically strong with a proven background in high value, complex personal injury litigation. A sound understanding of the CPR and relevant protocols is essential, as is the ability to provide exceptional client care particularly given the sensitive and often emotional nature of the work. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers while independently managing your own caseload of significant complexity.

The team places a strong emphasis on rehabilitation and works closely with families, healthcare professionals and support organisations. An interest in business development and charity engagement particularly with organisations supporting catastrophically injured individuals would be highly valued.

On offer is the chance to work with a nationally recognised team on exceptional quality work, within a collegiate and forward thinking firm that actively supports career progression. A competitive salary, excellent benefits package, hybrid working and a genuine commitment to work-life balance make this a rare and compelling opportunity.

This is an outstanding chance to join a growing team led by partners who are true experts in their field.
