A respected law firm is seeking an ambitious and talented Corporate Associate with 3-6 years' post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Corporate team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality national and international deals across a variety of sectors, including Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets & Governance, and Private Equity/Venture Capital, all within a supportive and collegiate environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for advising a wide range of clients, including large quoted companies, privately owned businesses, banks, financial institutions, and investors, on complex corporate transactions. Work will include:
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Private equity and venture capital transactions
- Joint ventures and corporate reorganisations
- Equity capital markets and governance matters
- Supporting clients across tech, media, energy, financial services, mobility, and infrastructure sectors
- Managing your own caseload with early responsibility and client exposure
- Collaborating with colleagues across offices and specialist teams
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 3-6 years PQE in corporate law
- Solid experience across a wide range of corporate transactions
- Strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail
- Confidence managing multiple matters and deadlines
- A collaborative approach and passion for delivering excellent client service
- Strong communication skills and ability to build long-lasting client relationships
- Willingness to learn, share knowledge, and contribute to team culture
