Paralegal - Corporate Team
Central London | Full‑time | Excellent career progression
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious paralegal to join a highly respected corporate team working alongside leading City partners on high‑quality, complex matters. You'll be part of a growing group of paralegals and trainees based in Central London, with occasional home working available depending on client needs.
This role offers exceptional exposure to top‑tier corporate work and a clear pathway to a training contract for high performers.
The role
You will support partners and senior lawyers across a broad range of corporate matters, including:
- Assisting on M&A transactions
- Company formations and corporate governance tasks
- Legal research and preparation of reports
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
- Conducting due diligence
- Managing client communications and supporting matter administration
- Preparing legal documents and transaction materials
- The work is varied, fast‑paced and intellectually stimulating, offering hands‑on experience from day one.
Career progression
Paralegals who perform strongly are eligible for a two‑year training contract after 12 months' service. The firm actively supports career development and gives motivated individuals significant responsibility early on.
Those who demonstrate drive, reliability and strong relationships with partners progress quickly, gaining exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious areas. Movement into other practice areas is possible where there is business need and partner support.
About you
- Strong academic background
- LPC or SQE (Parts 1 and 2) completed
- 12+ months' experience as a corporate paralegal at a reputable law firm
- Directly relevant legal skills and familiarity with corporate transactions
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Highly organised, efficient and able to manage competing priorities
- Driven, resilient and committed to delivering high‑quality work
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with a strong work ethic
