Employment Lawyer - Senior - Chippenham - 7+ Years PQE

A well established law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Lawyer with at least 7 years' post qualification experience to lead and grow its Employment offering in Chippenham. The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a broad caseload of contentious and non contentious employment matters, including:

  • Drafting Tribunal documentation and managing Employment Tribunal claims
  • Advising on employment contracts, policies, handbooks, and related documentation
  • Handling consultancy, non executive, and non standard director appointments and terminations
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
  • Advising on restructuring and redundancies
  • TUPE matters
  • Post termination restrictions
  • General employee relations issues
  • Advising on dismissals, discrimination, whistleblowing, and other disputes
  • Providing corporate support to the Corporate and Commercial team
  • Building and developing the Employment practice through business development and networking


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a senior Employment Lawyer with:

  • 7+ years' PQE in employment law
  • Experience advising both employers and employees
  • Strong Employment Tribunal experience
  • Proven business development and networking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach to client work
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload
  • Experience supervising junior team members (advantageous)
  • A dynamic, innovative, and forward thinking mindset
