Corporate Associate - Corporate Healthcare - 4+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol (hybrid working available)

Salary: £50,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience)

A leading UK law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate with a minimum of 4 years' post qualification experience to join its highly regarded Corporate Healthcare team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high profile and complex healthcare transactions within a dynamic, collaborative, and commercially focused environment.

The Role
You'll be responsible for advising clients across the healthcare sector on a broad range of corporate matters, including:

  • M&A transactions for regulated healthcare businesses
  • Private equity investments and buy and build strategies
  • Corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements
  • Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents
  • Managing healthcare specific due diligence and regulatory compliance
  • Leading negotiations and managing transactions from inception to completion
  • Providing strategic corporate advice aligned with healthcare regulations
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across tax, employment, commercial, banking, and real estate
  • Supporting business development, networking, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a commercially astute corporate solicitor with:

  • Minimum 4 years PQE in corporate law
  • Experience advising healthcare or other regulated sector clients (desirable)
  • Strong experience in M&A, private equity, and general corporate advisory work
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Confidence managing transactions independently and leading client discussions
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and market trends
  • A commercial, solutions focused approach to client advice
  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
  • A proactive, organised, and collaborative mindset
  • Ambition to progress and contribute to the growth of the corporate team
