Real Estate Associate - South West - 4+ Years PQE
Location: South West (with hybrid working flexibility across regional offices)

Salary: £55,000 to £85,000

A leading regional law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 4+ years' post-qualification experience to join its dynamic and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality transactional matters in a supportive environment, while contributing to the growth and success of the department.

The Role
You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing a caseload of real estate transactions efficiently and effectively
  • Advising clients on landlord and tenant matters, commercial leases, investment and disposal transactions
  • Demonstrating expertise in regeneration development acquisitions and disposals
  • Drafting legal documents with minimal supervision using appropriate precedents
  • Building strong client relationships and managing expectations around outcomes, risks, and timescales
  • Scoping fees and delivering commercially astute legal advice
  • Supporting risk management and contributing to a strong risk-aware culture
  • Growing internal and external networks of clients, intermediaries, and contacts
  • Enhancing personal and team profile through networking, publications, and speaking engagements
  • Assisting in team and sector pitches
  • Supporting junior team members with technical, business, and general guidance
  • Ensuring clear communication across all levels of the team
  • Tracking progress against KPIs and supporting budgetary management of client matters


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • Admission as a solicitor in England and Wales
  • 4+ years PQE in commercial real estate
  • Experience in regeneration development work and residential-led schemes
  • Strong time management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files and workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in title due diligence
  • A flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach


Desirable:

  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior lawyers
