Salary: £40,000 to £65,000

A respected and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 3+ years' post-qualification experience to join its established team in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable litigator to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

The Role
You'll be responsible for:

• Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters
• Liaising with clients, experts, and counsel
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to departmental growth
• Participating in business development and networking initiatives
• Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

• 3+ years PQE in clinical negligence or related litigation
• Strong technical and drafting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Confidence in managing matters independently
• High attention to detail and professional standards
• Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
• Understanding of health and safety responsibilities in the workplace

Desirable:

• Experience mentoring junior colleagues
• Willingness to attend external events and contribute to firm initiatives
