A top-tier Employment team is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Bristol office. Ranked in the top tier by The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for over 20 years, this is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most respected employment law teams. The role offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious matters, with opportunities to advise clients nationally and internationally.
The Role
You'll be part of a full-service employment practice advising across advisory, litigation, and transactional matters. Responsibilities include:
- Advising on complex employment issues including restructuring, restrictive covenants, reputational risk, and data privacy
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunals and industrial relations matters
- Supporting TUPE transactions and cross-border employment projects
- Collaborating with colleagues in incentives, immigration, pensions, and health & safety
- Working with high-profile clients across sectors such as financial services, telecoms, technology, retail, and media
- Engaging in international work and secondment opportunities
- Contributing to business development and strategic planning
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 6+ years PQE in employment law (contentious and non-contentious)
- Experience advising on complex employment matters and litigation
- Familiarity with TUPE, trade union issues, and reputational risk management
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- A collaborative mindset and commercial awareness
- Enthusiasm for legal tech and innovation
