Commercial Litigation Senior Associate

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Litigation Senior Associate to join our client's highly regarded and dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and will play a key role in managing and resolving complex legal disputes for our clients. Working closely with a leading partner, the successful candidate will be able to develop professionally and personally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including banking and financial disputes, civil fraud, and other complex commercial issues
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
  • Work closely with clients to support them navigating complex matters in a timely and simple manner
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop case strategies and provide strategic legal advice to clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates and paralegals


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in commercial/banking or financial services litigation
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation tactics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Day-to-day

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
  • Prepare and draft legal documents
  • Communicate with clients, counsel, and the all relevant parties
  • Attend court hearings and proceedings
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies and provide legal advice to clients
  • Stay current on developments in commercial litigation law and practice
