Real Estate, Practice Development Lawyer - Part-time *Multiple Locations*

Excellent opportunity for either an experienced Real Estate Lawyer or Practice Development Lawyer (PDL) to join the real estate practice of this highly ranked national law firm.

Our client has a market leading reputation for its real estate work and is home to an enviable client base and household names in the Development, Financial Services, Energy, Marine, Infrastructure, Healthcare and Education sectors.

The firm is looking to appoint a Real Estate PDL (which can be London based, or in its other nationwide locations) on a part-time basis (3 or 4 days). If you are a commercial real estate lawyer looking for an opportunity to move into a PDL role, or an existing PDL looking for a fresh challenge in a highly regarded team, then this is the role for you.

The Role

You will be offered a high level of responsibility across the breadth of the Real Estate practice and the opportunity to have significant interaction with lawyers.

You will be responsible for developing, updating and maintaining the team's precedent bank and work on innovation projects, to ensure the department remains at the cutting edge of legal services. You will also work closely with Legal Director PDL to help deliver a broad spectrum of know-how-related services.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:-

  • monitoring and keeping the fee earners up-to-date on legal developments;
  • producing supporting resources and articles on changes for both internal and external use; and
  • assisting with fee earners queries. An enthusiasm for delivering engaging training to all PQE levels is also key.

Skills and experience

You will be an English qualified Real Estate lawyer or PDL, with a minimum of 5 years PQE gained at a private practice firm. You will ideally have experience of creating and contributing of legal know-how materials and client service.
