Senior Associate, Energy Insurance, 5+, London

This international law firm is highly ranked in the legal directories for its exceptional Insurance and Reinsurance practice, particularly in the energy insurance market.

The Property & Casualty group has a fantastic opening for a Senior Associate to join its International Risk Insurance practice to work on large, complex coverage disputes across the Energy sector with a focus on global onshore & offshore energy, power generation, renewables, construction, mining and heavy industry.

The role will involve work on standard market forms as well as bespoke policies; defence work and subrogated claims; and resolving domestic and international disputes via litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation and ADR. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the firm's global offices, particularly in Hong Kong and Singapore, and liaise with local counsel in a variety of jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will be a commercial insurance lawyer with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in insurance coverage, gained within a similarly well-regarded practice and with a keen interest in the renewable energy sector. You will have strong academics, excellent knowledge of legal procedures and have an aptitude for providing commercial solutions.
