Are you still in the market for a top NQ position? I have an exciting and rare opportunity for a junior employment solicitor with up to 2 years pqe to join this highly regarded Legal 500 firm in their Reading office.
They come highly recommended in all the directories, and the employment team handle the full range of contentious and non-contentious instructions for a wide range of clients within the information technology, financial services, logistics, automotive, utilities, media, retail, affordable housing and charity sectors.
You will already have gained experience, at a similarly sized or larger firm, acting for both employers and employees, advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR issues. Good communication, client care and organisation skills are a must. The role will involve assisting with new cases, running a case load of smaller cases (building up to larger cases), under supervision and assisting senior members of the team in complex matters. Business development is key to the role and you will ideally have experience of providing in-house client training on a variety of HR topics and will be confident writing pieces for employment related websites, magazines and regular employment updates for clients. There will be plenty of opportunities for direct client contact and good training will be provided.
