This top law firm is seeking a defendant personal injury solicitor to join their Birmingham office. The firm have been recognised as a leading legal employer and ranked in L500 and Chambers and are expanding their insurance department.

Working in a busy department, the team defend public and employers liability claims, in particular workplace, public sector and claims against the emergency services. Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a caseload of social care cases and assisting partners and other fee earners on larger social care cases
  • Reviewing large volumes of documents, summarising them, preparing them for disclosure to other parties in litigation and reporting on liability, value and tactics
  • Assisting with other types of local authority or injury litigation work

You will have previous experience of managing a personal injury caseload and preferably social care experience, although this is not essential. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, communication and team working skills.
