Fantastic opportunity for a solicitor to join this national firm who are expanding their personal injury team.

You will be part of the Asbestos Related Disease team who are based in Cambridge. The team has over 30 years of experience representing victims of asbestos related diseases and work as part of a national team who are recognised in Legal Directories. The team deal purely with asbestos disease claims, mainly mesothelioma, with a high percentage of litigated cases being dealt with on an expedited basis in the High Court.

You will have personal injury litigation experience, ideally in Asbestos Related Disease or general disease cases but this is not essential. Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Manage own caseload and assist Partners and senior team members on high value cases
  • Lead the investigation and litigation on complex cases, working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Take instructions from clients and give legal advice, including obtaining evidence and pursuing litigation
  • Develop relationships with nurses, other medical professionals and victim support groups

You will display a clear enthusiasm for this area of law and be committed to securing the best outcomes for your clients whilst working under pressure.
