Our client, a top tier firm, are offering a fantastic opportunity to join them as an Employment Knowledge Lawyer.
This role is ideal for someone who is already working in a KM role rather than for an employment lawyer looking to move into a KM position.You must have the right to live and work in the UK and you must understand UK Employment law.
This position will involve working closely with the Head of the Employment team and the wider knowledge management team to develop innovative ways in which better to serve our clients.Employment legal knowledge is needed as is a solid understanding of the various IT platforms used to assist in litigation, case management and marketing, but you do not necessarily need to be qualified.
The role will suit a confident and enthusiastic mid or senior-level individual who is committed to providing the best and most efficient possible service to clients.
Duties will involve:* Identifying opportunities to improve knowledge or information services and systems in line with the Knowledge Strategy* Analysing the various IT solutions on offer and how best to apply them to the Employment team* Providing high level input on the team's strategy, analysing and keeping the team informed about legal issues as they arise* Planning and delivering knowledge and information projects and identifying metrics to measure their success* Building strong relationships with stakeholders and teams to understand and manage expectations and increase engagement in knowledge initiatives* Maintaining knowledge systems, working with vendors and content owners to ensure the quality of the content and improve ease of access for users* Supporting legal and central teams in the collection and sharing of knowledge, information and best practice.
