Excellent opportunity in defendant PI litigation with one of the UK's leading firms for insurance litigation work.

Our client seeks to appoint a defendant PI lawyer to join their successful Casualty team based in Birmingham. The team defends public and employers' liability claims, particularly workplace, public sector and claims against the emergency services.

In this challenging role, you'll handle a caseload of local authority claims, including social care cases, and assist partners and other fee earners on larger social care cases and with other types of local authority or injury litigation work. Applications are invited from lawyers with at least 2 years PQE and experience of handling defendant EL, PL and/or social care claims.

Working in a friendly, supportive team, you'll have exposure to a consistent throughput of challenging cases with the scope to develop your experience. The firm is an employer of choice in the Midlands, well-known for their successful insurance practice as well as being a progressive, merit based firm which is a great place to work.
