Construction Professional Support Lawyer (part time)

This is a fantastic new opening to join a Top 100 UK Law firm as a construction professional support lawyer. Maybe you are looking to step away from fee earning, looking to return to work after a short career break or seeking a better work-life balance.

As an integral member of the construction & infrastructure team, your duties will include, ensuring that you remain up to date with any changes to construction law and communicate any developments effectively, updating templates and precedents, providing training to the team internally as well as getting involved in external training including workshops and seminars. It will be important to keep abreast with developments by reviewing and making recommendations in respect of updates, journals and other resources available. You can use your creativity by assisting with client seminars, newsletters, articles and suggesting business development initiatives as well as getting involved in the marketing of the department.

With a strong pedigree in construction law, you will enjoy an influential and interesting role which will ensure that no two days are the same.

This role is a part time position and ideally, will be 3 days per week but other working patterns can be considered.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced construction lawyer of around 5 years PQE with strong transactional experience and ideally a mix of contentious and non-contentious experience.
