Our client is a highly respected and established practice in the heart of Plymouth with a strong reputation for family and childcare law. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Child Care Lawyer to bolster their well-established Family team.
As a solicitor in this childcare department, you will be advising on all aspects of public law matters relating to children and their care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare law and will take on an existing caseload and new client instructions. The caseload on offer includes Care and interim Orders, Emergency Protection Orders, Special Guardianship Orders, Adoption and Private Children Law.
Knowledge of the Legal Aid system and strong advocacy experience is essential for this role. Children Panel accredited or working towards accreditation is desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to listen to client needs sensitively and fairly, and provide clear, supportive, and careful guidance to help deliver the best outcome for them.
