Excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join an award-winning Legal 500 law firm.
Our client is currently looking for a Paralegal to join its dynamic Court of Protection team in Southampton or Guildford.
The hiring team deals with all aspects of Court of Protection work, including property and affairs and community care. The role will involve assisting senior fee earners with management of property and affairs for clients who have received compensation as a result of personal injury or clinical negligence. Duties will include: assisting senior fee earners with the general management of files with appropriate supervision, liaising with the Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Major Trauma teams, working with clients and their families, liaising with case managers and other professionals working with clients, preparing applications to the Court for deputy appointments under the supervision of senior fee earners , assisting with LPA creation, assisting with managing finances (including paying bills, setting up direct debits), assisting with preparing and managing budgets, etc.
To be considered, you must have paralegal experience. Ideally, they would like to find someone with Court of Protection or Private Wealth experience but this is not essential.
On offer is a competitive salary of up to £26,000 (depending on experience) and an attractive benefits package. The firms offers a flexible working approach of both office and remote working.
