New opportunity for an Employment Paralegal to join one of Bristol's most innovative law firms.
Our client is currently looking for a Paralegal to join their Employment team in Bristol on a 12 month FTC. The organisation boasts a friendly and supportive working environment and you will enjoy genuine opportunities for career progression.
This is an exciting new role to join a team where you will undertake a wide selection of both contentious and non-contentious work. The role will involve:
- Working on a wide variety of litigation matters both in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeals Tribunal acting for both employees and employers;
- Having exposure to a range of complex legal issues including discrimination, equal pay, TUPE, unfair dismissal, whistle blowing and other contractual claims;
- Being responsible for all claim stages, from inception to conclusion, including drafting of pleadings, witness statements, direct client contact, advocacy, and negotiation; and
- Advising commercial clients on non-contentious matters including drafting of staff handbooks, contracts of employments and advising on internal matters such as grievances and disciplinaries.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least one years' experience of dealing with employment law cases. Salary is £24,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
