My client is a top 50 commercial law firm with multiple offices across the UK. Highly rated market leaders in many practice areas including Real Estate, Banking and Finance and Corporate, the firm offer a welcoming, friendly and social working environment and a unique employee incentive scheme.
Their Nottingham based Employment team is ranked tier one by the Legal 500. They have ambitious growth plans in the East Midlands, offering you the chance to join a progressive and expanding team.
You will advise on a range of employment matters including employment tribunal work, supporting HR functions, severance and settlement agreements, redundancy and TUPE as well as providing specialist support to the firm's restructuring team for cases involving insolvency matters. You will work with a broad spectrum of clients from the education, manufacturing, financial services, sport and logistics sectors from SME's through to PLCs.
You will have a minimum of four years post qualification experience of dealing with contentious and non contentious employment matters. As a Senior Associate you will be responsible for supervising junior staff and happy to undertake business development activities.
