I am seeking applications from Housing Lawyers who specialise in Housing Litigation for a new Locum/Interim position, working in-house with one of London's largest social housing providers. This role is based in Central London and easily reached by public transport.
The purpose of this role will be to manage and conduct a varied housing management litigation caseload for the group including anti social behaviour, nuisance, tenancy fraud, defended possession claims, hoarding, unauthorised occupation and trespass. And to support the operational Heads of Service in the Group to ensure legal risks are identified in processes and procedures at an early stage.
- Deliver legal services to the Group, meet agreed KPIs and ensure value for money.
- Conduct a wide variety of housing management litigation cases as allocated by the Principal Lawyer and seek to achieve optimum outcomes for the Group.
- In limited circumstances and where appropriate, present routine possession and injunction cases in the County Court. In all other circumstances make use of the Group's barrister panel and instruct counsel.
