Our client, a pioneering international FinTech company, require an Interim Deputy Company Secretary for a 6 month period. This role will be reporting into the General Counsel. The purpose of the role is to work closely with the Board of Directors and Senior Management, to ensure they are fully aware of all situations and understand compliance and legal matters. You will be responsible for ensuring that statutory obligations are met and for maintaining a high standard of corporate governance and compliance within the business. Experience of working in a regulated environment is highly advantageous. Accountabilities: * Fulfilling the legal duties of a deputy company secretary * Providing comprehensive legal and administrative support and guidance to the board. * Assisting in the implementation of corporate strategies by ensuring that the board's decisions and instructions are properly carried out and communicated. * Ensuring that the company complies with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements Your duties will include the following: * Attending and minuting Board Meetings * Report and Accounts * Shareholder Communications * Corporate Governance * Board Support * Companies House Filing and statutory compliance Skills & Experience required: * Degree plus professional qualifications, preferably a Fellow or an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (or relevant professional body) would be preferable. * Company Secretarial experience including company law, company secretarial practice, corporate governance and risk management. * Experience of working within a regulated business.
