Professional Indemnity Solicitor (Senior)

Level: 4 + PQE

This outstanding Professional Indemnity team is looking to grow. Not only has this department been ranked as tier 1 by the Legal 500, are also recognised by Chambers UK for the impressive quality of advice. The team boasts several named individuals within the Legal 500 and continue to be known as market leaders in this sector. Although this role is based in the Bristol office, the team also have a London presence and so within this role there would be a mixture of regional and city quality matters.

The team acts for all the major professional indemnity insurers but also for large professional services firms. The team advises on a variety of matters against professionals including solicitors, insurance brokers, accountants, and financial advisers.

Within this role you would be responsible for defending claims at both pre and post litigation stages.The value of matters would range from £10,000 to multi millions.

The ideal candidate will have strong professional indemnity experience. This can be broad reaching experience but can also include defending claims against specific professionals. The team are ideally looking for solicitors that are 4+ PQE who have a strong grounding in professional indemnity.

The team do not reserve business development for partners and so you would be involved in BD activities from the beginning with the associated rewards.
