A busy and well-established legal team is seeking a Litigation Solicitor with 1-5 years' post-qualification experience to join its litigation department in Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in a high-volume, client-focused environment with strong support and clear progression.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a caseload focused on residential eviction matters, including:
- Handling a range of litigation work
- Drafting affidavits, injunctions, statements, notices, applications, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Reviewing and analysing evidence and witness statements
- Preparing briefs for Counsel and compiling document bundles
- Assisting with financial management of matters
- Ensuring excellent client communication and satisfaction
- Liaising with and delegating tasks to legal assistants
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 1-5 years PQE in litigation
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Confidence in managing matters independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive and organised approach
- Familiarity with legal IT systems and Microsoft Office
