An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Commercial/ Procurement Solicitor with a leading international law firm in their Manchester office. FTE salary upwards of £45k.

Our client is a leading international law firm who have a network of offices across the globe, predominantly providing legal services in corporate, finance, litigation, real estate and tax. Their client list is hugely impressive and includes some of the largest property companies and corporate occupiers in the UK and overseas.

Due to an internal need, they are looking to appoint an inward-facing Commercial or Procurement Solicitor who will be responsible for managing and reviewing the supply chain and commercial contracts the firm enters into. These will mostly be UK based but some will be overseas or involve cross-jurisdictional issues. The contracts will vary from lower value, low risk suppliers to high value, firmwide, higher risk contracts.

They are looking to speak to experienced Commercial solicitors who have had a solid experience of procurement contracts and processes. The role is envisaged to be part time, likely a 3 day week. The position is a 12 month FTC initially but it is extremely likely to go permanent. This is a new function within the firm so the systems and processes are likely to be quite fluid and require input and review by the successful applicant.

This is a good time to join a relatively new office of an expanding and well-regarded international law firm who can offer an extremely competitive package to the right individual. FTE salary upwards of £45k.
