As part of the firm's ongoing investment, Kennedys is now looking to appoint a partner/ partner designate who will play an integral part in the further growth and investment of the professional indemnity team in Taunton. The firms' newly acquired Taunton team have recently moved into impressive new offices which are easily accessible from the M5. The core area of work within the Taunton office is professional indemnity and Kennedys are rated in both the L500 and Chambers and comments tend to focus on their 'Astounding breadth and depth of knowledge." The team acts on numerous high value and often sensitive claims for clients throughout the UK and their work centres on acting for a broad range of professional indemnity insurers covering solicitors indemnity, architects and construction professionals, and IFA'S. Working alongside the lead partner you will ideally have the following background: · Senior Solicitor/ Partner Designate / Partner · Defendant professional negligence experience/ good general insurance litigation experience Kennedys is a top 50 International Law Firm headquartered in London with a projected turnover of £82M+ in 2010 and a total staff and partner complement of 780 people worldwide.
Its core practice area is insurance litigation which accounts for approximately 80% of turnover.
