Regulatory Partner, Birmingham
Job ID - J238111B
PARTNER
West Midlands
Rate - £ Negotiable
Our expansion has seen our firm described as the most ambitious of the next generation of national firms. As we say of ourselves, our growth is not led by any particular service, but by our clients. We are also sector focused, a strategic resolve that has paid off handsomely for our strong reputation in sectors such as real estate and construction, retail, sport and leisure, as well as wealth management for high net worth individuals. We attribute our growth (we have more than doubled in size in five years) to pure ambition, market focus and a philosophy that encourages everyone at the firm to think as a client, to look for opportunities, clients and colleagues, and to 'live' quality.

Our present focus in the area of Regulatory law is centred in the South West under the expert guidance of Tim Hayden, the firm's Chairman. Under the leadership of head of litigation William Whiteley we have identified the need to establish a new Regulatory team in our Birmingham city centre office. The sort of work we need to cover includes the following broad areas;

· Commercial, including waste management, data protection, food safety, licensing and environmental health;

· Property, including pollution, planning issues and statutory nuisance;

· Private client, including regulatory and disciplinary procedures, road traffic offences, harassment claims and other criminal offences, including fraud.

· Agriculture, including animal welfare, land drainage prosecutions, countryside disturbance

We have a one-off opportunity to join and to help shape our Regulatory practice and to work closely with our leaders in this field. In reality, you will be free to pursue your own area of expertise whilst working with our major clients.

But that's not all. We wish to involve you in our exciting plans both to build on our existing capability and to grow the practice further into the regulatory sector.

What matters to us is your enthusiasm and your ambition. There has never been a better time to contemplate a move to us.

If this fits the bill for your future, please get in touch. We'll help you develop your career as far as you want it to go.

For a confidential initial discussion, please call our retained consultant Simon Chadwick of Chadwick Nott on 0117 925 9962 or 07768 094648
