Corporate Social Responsibility
In 2007, we launched ‘Giving Something Back’. Everyone at Chadwick Nott is given one paid day a year to help a charity of their choice - in groups or solo.
Some of the things we’ve done so far include: a sponsored cycle ride to Paris; helping to clean a National Trust Property; raising money for ‘Help For Heroes’; helping out at a charity coffee morning; working at an animal sanctuary.
In 2011, Chadwick Nott staff raised over £6000 for various charities through our Recommend a Friend Scheme and by individual efforts in cycling, running, and swimming. Benefiting charities included Bristol Rugby Community Foundation, The Oscar Foundation, MacMillan Cancer Relief, ShelterBox, Marie Curie and Breast Cancer Research.
We are proud to be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support during 2011. Macmillan is a great cause as they provide support and help with all the things that people affected by cancer want and need. They recognise that it’s not only patients who live with cancer, so they also help carers, families and communities in many different ways. Macmillan also provide grants to patients to help them pay for anything from heating bills to travel costs.
Money will be raised through our candidate Refer a Friend scheme, where our candidates can choose to donate up to £250 to Macmillan. Having a fundraising partnership with Macmillan, means that together we can help to improve the lives of thousands of people affected by cancer across the UK.
To find out more information on how you can help, please contact our offices or your consultant. We are very grateful for your donations to help us support Macmillan in 2011.
Environment
In our own small way, we do our best to protect the environment we live in, because if we act collectively, we can all make a big difference.
To this end, we carefully follow environmental legislation. We always use paper from a sustainable source and recycle it along with print equipment. We also switch off the lights when we don’t need them.
